Important Financial News Regarding Year End Contributions
Thank you so much to everyone who has submitted their 2020 pledge card.
If you have not submitted your pledge card, we encourage you to submit online by clicking the link below or by returning your 2020 pledge card by mail using the enclosed stamped and addressed envelope from your mailing so that we can complete our 2020 budget. Pledges do not roll over from year to year, so please turn in a pledge card even if you intend for it to stay the same. If you want to make changes to your automatic deductions or to your pledge envelopes, we request that you notify Davina in the finance office via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 770-977-7473.
In regards to 2019 giving, contribution statements through the third quarter were mailed in November. If you are behind on your pledge, please try to bring your balance up to date as soon as possible so that we may end the year with a balanced budget. Please contact Davina Kuhn at 770-977-7473 or via e-mail at email@example.com if you have any questions.
Any contributions you wish to be credited to the 2019 pledge year must be postmarked no later than December 31, 2019. Checks placed in the offering plate or mailed after this date will not qualify for a charitable contribution deduction even if dated in 2019. If you wish to take a tax deduction in 2019 for your 2020 pledge, you can prepay your pledge by sending your check to the church postmarked no later than December 31, 2019 and marking it as a “prepaid 2020 pledge.”
Gifts of stocks or bonds may be made by contacting our broker: UBS Financial Services, Advisor: Wright Consulting Group, 404-760-3000.
